Bhagavadgītā 17.22
adeśakāle yaddānamapātrebhyaśca dīyateasatkṛtamavajñātaṃ tattāmasamudāhṛtam

adeśakāle yaddānamapātrebhyaśca dīyate | asatkṛtamavajñātaṃ tattāmasamudāhṛtam
Translations signed
That alms given at unfit place and time, and to unworthy persons, disrespectfully and contemptuously, that is declared of darkness.
