Offer a translation

The signature is the product. Everything else is typesetting. A rendering with a real name and a real school behind it is worth more than a hundred fluent ones with nobody standing behind them, and the library is built so that your name sits on the folio rather than in a credits page nobody reads.

What is most needed

• Signing existing drafts. Every unsigned draft in the library is waiting for a qualified reader to check it, correct it and put their name to it. This is the highest value thing anyone can do here.
• Indian languages other than Hindi. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese. Drafted against the padapāṭha, never against the English.
• Recitation. Audio from a reciter in an unbroken paramparā, with the śākhā and the teacher named. Around eleven branches are still recited. Every recording is a hedge against a twelfth going quiet.
• Corrections. A wrong accent, a broken conjunct, a misattributed ṛṣi. Small corrections compound.

What we ask

• Your name, your school or institution, and a way to reach you. Anonymous work stays marked as unsigned draft, which defeats the purpose.
• Which edition you worked from.
• That you flag your own uncertainty. A note saying "this pāda is genuinely disputed" is more valuable than a confident guess.
• Agreement that your contribution is released under CC BY-SA 4.0, so the library stays copyable.

How to send it

Write to hi@432labs.com with the verse address, for example rv.10.129.1, and your rendering. A structured contribution flow is being built. Until it exists, email is slower but it reaches a person, which at this stage is the point.

Attribution

Contributors are named on every unit they touched, in the apparatus, with the date. Corrections are credited by name and the revision history stays public. If you later want your name removed, write and it comes off.
