Muṇḍakopaniṣad 3.2.3
nāyamātmā pravacanena labhyo na medhayā na bahunā śrutenayamevaiṣa vṛṇute tena labhya- stasyaiṣa ātmā vivṛṇute tanūṃ svām

nāyamātmā pravacanena labhyo na medhayā na bahunā śrutena | yamevaiṣa vṛṇute tena labhya- stasyaiṣa ātmā vivṛṇute tanūṃ svām
Translations signed
That Self cannot be gained by the Veda, nor by understanding, nor by much learning. He whom the Self chooses, by him the Self can be gained. The Self chooses him (his body) as his own.
